February’s Price Toppers Chart
Price is one of the most important factors to consider when selling your home. Don’t inflate the price so you can then ‘negotiate’ – this doesn’t work. The market is very price sensitive right now and many buyers will refuse to consider something just a few per cent higher in price than their budget. Many traditional High Street agents, eager for their commission, regularly try to entice sellers into an inflated price. Then, once the customer has signed up to a contract with that agent, they advise reducing the price to a more realistic market value (still ensuring they get their commission). This practice, known as Price Topping is something to be aware of when choosing the agent to sell your home. The list below gives a list of the average Price Toppers for February.
