Questions, questions, questions…(part 3)
Part Three – Negotiation.
Once a buyer is found we negotiate for the highest sale price, exactly as a local/traditional estate agent should do or another online estate agent.
Our goal is to achieve the highest sale price and not settle for a quick or easy sale. Arriving at the negotiation stage is a culmination of a sustained marketing effort and the final steps should not be rushed.
Where agents charge higher fees, it can be tempting to try and tie up deals quickly and not put the satisfactory amount of effort into negotiation. A few thousand pounds, possibly tens of thousands, off the asking price means a lot to a seller but as percentage for the agents fee, is not life changing. That’s why some agents can rush deals through. They become inpatient having to wait for their fee.
Edward Giles do not rush the negotiation process or look for an easy deal. We work for the seller and treat each deal as if it were our own. Our incentive is to know that we have done everything possible to secure the best price for our seller. We have received repeat business from customers and many referrals by working this way.
